FAQ
Is the 19+ signature mandatory?
Yes. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule! As per our Terms Of Services and Refund policy, all sales are final!
To make this very clear: IF YOU ARE UNDERAGE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR ORDER AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED OR BE ABLE TO PERFORM A CHARGEBACK! Our payment processor is aware of this and will side with us! ALL chargebacks initiated by underage purchases were successfully contested!
We consider a returned undelivered order shipped with age verification an underage sale unless the customer can prove without a doubt he is over 19 years old!
The age of majority in my province is 18, will you still send with 19+ verification?
Our system automatically uses the appropriate age depending on the province of delivery. If your province requires you to be 18+, the signature requirement will be changed from 19+ to 18+!
Do I need to be home when my order is delivered to sign?
No. If you are not available to sign for the package, Canada Post will leave a stub for you to pickup the order at the nearest post office.
I need to modify my order!
If the order has not shipped yet, use the contact form to request to modify your order or cancellation! If the order has already shipped, we are sorry but there is nothing we can do!
Why hasn't my order shipped yet??
Please pay attention to the order processing delay shown on the top left of the page. While we do our best to ship orders on the same day, we sometimes need a little bit of extra time!
I did not receive a confirmation email!
There are 2 possible scenarios for this:
1 - Please check your spam folder!
2 - You most likely received a declined payment while trying to place your order. A pop-up message should have appeared when placing the order. Please disable pop-up blocking on your browser.
Canada Post has marked my package as delivered but it hasn't arrived!
We have noticed a trend when Canada Post marks a package as delivered when it is not the case. Please allow 24hrs for the package to arrive. If the package has still not arrived, please contact us with your order number and we will open a ticket with Canada Post.
Canada Post did not respect the time frame allocated for delivering the product, can I get a refund on shipping?
Unfortunately, we do not currently track nor request refunds from Canada Post for delayed delivery. This would be too time-consuming and cause unnecessary overhead.
What are nicotine salts?
Nicotine Salt is a type of nicotine that forms naturally in leaf tobacco and is generally considered to be a more stable form of nicotine vs. traditional freebase nicotine salt found in most e-liquids. Nicotine Salt requires a higher temperature in order to properly vaporize and the ions don’t travel to the nicotine receptors in your body as easily. In other words, Nicotine Salts are not the most efficient way to deliver nicotine to your body…so why use it?
Nicotine Salt rose in popularity with the release of a device called the JUUL and once that device became a staple in the industry, people demanded more and better options. Now Nicotine Salts are readily available and rising even more in popularity.
When you vape traditional freebase nicotine, most people wouldn’t choose something over 18mg, as the hit would be much too harsh. However, with Nicotine Salts, most people who vape 3mg freebase nicotine are able to comfortably vape 25mg-50mg Nicotine Salts and Nicotine Salts help to mimic the sensation of smoking a combustible cigarette.
This can be confusing, and for good reason, as most everything we’ve been taught about e-liquid would lead us to believe that 50mg of nicotine would be extremely harsh and even potentially dangerous, but Nicotine Salt e-liquids have a special ingredient called Benzoic Acid that helps to make Nicotine Salts as smooth and palatable in higher strengths.
Benzoic Acid serves a few purposes:
- It allows the Nicotine Salt to vaporize at much lower temperatures.
- It lowers the pH levels in the Nicotine Salt, which in turn produces a smoother hit
- It causes a reaction which allows Nicotine Salt to be absorbed as easily as Freebase Nicotine.
Because of this Benzoic Acid, most people are able to easily handle higher nicotine strengths and the Nicotine Salt is absorbed by your body much more efficiently.
FREEBASE NICOTINE VS. NICOTINE SALT:
The biggest difference between Freebase Nicotine and Nicotine Salts is the harshness that higher levels of nicotine typically lead to. Freebase Nicotine has a higher pH level which in turn affects the alkalinity, meaning that Freebase Nicotine gets much harsher as the nicotine level goes higher. Because of the Benzoic Acid found in Nicotine Salts, they have a lower pH level and are therefore much more smooth and enjoyable.
WHO SHOULD USE NICOTINE SALT?
Nicotine Salts are one of the most effective types of nicotine to help aid cigarette smokers in ditching the habit. Due to the higher nicotine content, Nicotine Salts more closely resemble the effects of smoking a cigarette and therefore help curb the craving.
Another reason for using Nicotine Salts would be the fact that they’re designed for use in smaller, lower wattage devices. So, if you want an extremely portable device for when you’re on the go, or you don’t want to be THAT GUY blowing massive clouds in public, Nicotine Salts will help to satisfy your craving in smaller and more concentrated doses.
BEST DEVICES TO USE WITH NICOTINE SALTS:
We cannot emphasize enough the importance of only using Nicotine Salts in small, low wattage devices. DO NOT USE NICOTINE SALTS IN ANY KIND OF HIGH POWERED AND/OR SUB-OHM DEVICES unless using our SUB-OHM SALTS line of e-juice. These devices are small enough to fit in a pocket or purse, and there aren’t any settings like wattage to mess with + it has enough battery life and a big enough e-liquid capacity to last all day.
